    Hello everyone.

I got an accessory plug socket ( or whatever it's named ) fitted for free on my bonnie when I bought it.
The thing is, being a total mech noob and a foreigner, I do not know the exact keyword I need to search for a usb plug for that or how to plug my soon to come gps on that and such.

    Can anybody help ?

What the exact name of that thing and how I plug my gps or my phone into it ?

If your plug socket is smaller than the usual car one it is a 12v to usb hella din adapter you want. Often helps if you put BMW before it. This is the one I have

That's the one I went for after trying one of the angled ones.

I have both - the angled one fits in the socket better but sticks up but the other one just won't seat fully as it catches. Why didn't Triumph just install a proper USB socket!

Yea I found the angled one is ok for the rear socket but in the front I had to angle it away from me. The straight one fits snugly in the front one.

It fits in and works fine but won't fully seat as it catches on either the cowling around the ignition switch or the plastic cover over the socket.
