Hey All, Have been on two wheels since I raced motocross back in 1972. Then moved to the road in the late seventies to a BMW R60/5. Went away from it all while raising a family and re-entered on a '87 BMW K-100. Put 160,000 on that before buying a 2007 Sprint ST 1050. What took me so long to discover Triumph? Tricked that one out with Olins, Brembos, and Wolf exhaust. Just added a killer 2016 Thruxton R to my quiver. All I can say is !! Finally when I just feel like a mellow ride I have a 1962 BMW R60/2. All of 32hp! Runs like day one and still makes me smile. Thanks for listening and cheers! See you on the road. Scalz Fairfield, CT USA

Welcome, Scalz. That BMW R60/2 sounds interesting. Probably worth many $/£s these days. Is that an Earles front forks model - my somewhat unreliable memory seems to think it is. Pictures rule hereabouts! Enjoy our asylum for the terminally bewildered.
I had a 60/2 many moons ago, lovely old bike with a 7 gallon Hoeske?tank fitted, a lovely old cruiser once you got used to the gear change. Took it over to the Island twice, never any trouble.
