955i st sprint Fuel light staying on with engine light (2004)

Hi there.

I recently bought a non running (due to water in tank) 955i st sprint 2004. I spent some time sorting out the water issue but since she's been on the road- around 1000 miles, the fuel light and the engine light are on just about all the time. On the odd occasion I fill it up and it stays off for a minute but then it's back on.

Will replacing the fuel sensor also help with the engine light and any other ideas?

Also if anyone has a sensor for sale that would be great.
