image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg hi there, I'm new to the group so I hope this is a good place to start..

I'm searching for my fathers old Bonneville, it's an 82 and the DVLA says it hasn't been taxed since 91, so I'm aware that this may be a pointless task..

However, the optimist in me says someone, somewhere, might have the rusted old bike tucked away in their garage that's been there for too long..

It was in the north Kent area way back then, so that's a clue I guess!

Failing that, let's see your garage rusty 82 bonne's and see if they take my fancy too!

    Thanks!

After 25 years of not being taxed I would guess that you search may well be (sadly) fruitless. A shame really as that style of Bonnie is a rarity. Can't remember if the bodywork was a genuine factory fitment or an aftermarket kit. Gut feeling is that it was a genuine factory effort.
As an '82 model it would be one of the last Meriden products - Les Harris started producing Bonnies in '83 from Newton Abbot.

Thanks for the information - I was clueless to a lot of that, only that that bodywork is something I've not seen through my searches!
Worth a gentle look I guess.
    Cheers!
