I have bought a battery tender for the bike and need to know how to set charger. Is the battery a lead-acid or a lithium battery?
The stock battery for a new T120 is lead acid. In fact all new bikes from Triumph are lead acid. Which battery tender have you bought?
NOCO genius 1A. Has a desulphur mode. My battery had to be replaced recently and I switched to a lithium ion. The noco has a lithium ion mode in case i need to charge it.
Oh it will be Lead acid unless someone put in a lithium ion. When you take the seat off to install the maintainer you can double check before you wire it in. Some maintainers have a lead acid and lithium mode so you can use it if you change to a lithium battery (I did in the hopes it will last longer).
