    OK, here's my pitch :

300 mls south east of Dieppe in Central France

Beautiful quiet roads in the Creuse and Auvergne

Beautiful lunches average 13.50€ for 4 courses and wine

    Lakes, forests and rivers

Camping grounds dead cheap, gites available (will check-out bunk style accom if interested)

A chance to polish your linguistic skills with the Aigurande girls

Three bars in the village with good beer, coffee, even TEA !!!!

    DFDS Ferry costs Newhaven/Dieppe - £31.50 each way - July 2019.

Great place to visit and ride bikes, was not too far from you a few weeks ago biglad, Tours, Oradour, Limoges and then headed for La Rochelle. But the roads we were on around Tours-Limoges were fantastic.

If your suggestion for the GMU to be held in France goes ahead I really hope I can attend, great idea.

I agree but the thought is a brilliant one if we've all got that space of time and money spare...

I’d love to do, it w*rk permitting, if 28+ people wanted to do it would that constitute a gmu? Is it numbers or location. The fact that it’s abroad would make it a foreign gmu anyways. There will always be one in the Uk no matter what, I hope!!

Well it looks like we have a couple of solid ideas for the 2019 international trip...... I'm up for either or any other suggestions.

Its a fair spin for me but that's the adventure :p, If we do go to France then its either a ferry to the uk and another to france or direct to france on a over nighter to Roscoff.

I'm up for it. Call it a GMU or Donald effing Duck, makes no difference. Love France. Still want to do the Picos de Europa though. Would need a hotel or good bunkhouse though Dave.

Hi Andy, glad to hear that you're up for the idea, at least.

I put this up to gauge interest, so if there's enough I'll start looking into accommodation.
