So i rode my speedie for the first time today and man i am in love with this beautiful machine already :-D

When i returned home i wanted to set the suspension to "comfort" mode as described in the manual.
No problems setting the rear but then i turned to the front.

The manual says that compression from factory should be set to 19 clicks out from all the way in so i started counting backwards to the all the way in position.
When i got to -5 clicks i decided to stop since i feared i might be doing something wrong. The screw got progressively harder to turn and kept clicking but i didn't get to the all the way in position.

So i tought it wise to ask for clarification and help from some pros :-D

Yeah i would like to double check the factory settings for the same reason, that's why i tried to go back to 0 and count the correct amount of clicks out from there.
So it kinda worries me that i can't find 0.

Also on a side note, is it normal for the right shock ( rebound) to make a sort of clicking sound when i compress the shock?

Remember everything is still new so if you found the ride a bit harsh it might loosen off the more miles you put on the bike. I'd let everything bed in a bit before changing the settings.

It's actually really harsh what with the shitty roads here :-D

So i went fully out (counter clockwise)on the left fork (compression) and found a positive stop. I tried going all the way in but could keep going well past the 26 clicks in clockwise :s

About 30 clicks in it started to feel tight so i may have overtightended as well.
So the best thing i can do is count clicks in instead of out?
Does the rebound setting on the right fork also have 26 clicks of adjustment?

Ok after some orientation with the equipment i set everything to the standard road setting and then softened the compression front and rear by 3 clicks.
    Thanks for the help!

Edit : while i have this thread going might as well ask now, is there a reason triumph let's us adjust the preload in front but tells us to stay away from the rear preload?

Yeah the manual says messing with rear preload could lead to my death somehow :-D

I eyeballed the sag when i got her (don't have a happy helper) and it looked pretty spot on.
