Just wanted to ask a question. I have this 2010 Bonneville which seems to be an 11 plate early release. I changed the rocker cover gasket and oil and filter. I now noticed the engine management light stays on. IO have not ridden the the bike to find out if the light goes out. It starts and runs fine and is getting oil to the head as the old rocker gasket leaked all over. I did try the three engine starts but still the same. Any body to throw a light on this would be helpful.

Joe, did you remove the fuel tank? Is it possible you've disconnected the SAI sensor? Don't suppose you have Tuneecu....
...and, did you run the engine up fully from cold to hot to cold three times? Not teaching granny to suck eggs, just asking :)

Yes fuel tank came of. Someone has half removed the air gubbings and left half on there still running to the air box. No I don't have the tune ecu And yes maybe I disturbed something. Working for the next four days then I will check and have another go. I did the cold hot starts twice just to be sure.
