Hi all, just noticed a different behaviour today with my Bonny.

She was hunting on tickover quite badly. Pulled over and noticed the MAP vacuum pipe on the RHS was split,so obviously the MAP sensor wasn't getting proper info.Took the bike home and effected repair and she was definitely better but still not right.

Connected TuneECU and no faults recorded, the MAP readings were pretty-much identical, but still hunting.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Dave

Perhaps you still have an air leak somewhere Dave, check all the hoses and connections etc

Hi Keith and thanks for the reply.

Since my last post, I revisited the sealing of the MAP pipes on the throttle bodies and put small zip-ties on the TB ends.

She is now running perfectly again, and with my new back tyre - BLISS!!!!

I dont use my bike as much as I would like too I always seem to have to do something that requires a car to put all the gear in, today I did 128 miles to collect a mates bike with my trailor which I dropped off at his home, and I still have to go and fix it for him before the weekend :)
