Bonneville 003.JPG Bonneville 005.JPG I have reluctantly decided to sell my Bonnie.
It's a 2008 model, 21,300 miles, MOT runs out next month sometime, but will fly through next test no problem, I will MOT it for the new buyer if it sells for the asking price.
It is bog standard apart from the Moto twin silencers I fitted shortly after buying it last year. They sound fantastic !
Tyres and brakes are all good, and the chain and sprockets have only done about 300 miles. If I was going to keep it, I would have had it serviced at some point soon, it runs perfect, but just for peace of mind. I have just bought 4ltr's of semi synthetic oil, and a filter for it, if I get the chance I will change the oil, if not, it will go with the bike.
It comes with full service history, a folder full of receipts, handbooks, and it has a datatool system 4 red alarm fitted, all paperwork and handbook for this is included too.
    New battery fitted 10/04/2015
It needs a good clean, and the lacquer on the wheel hubs is a bit suspect in places, also the downpipes need some elbow grease, but otherwise it's in quite good condition.
    I'm looking for £3900.

  2. Price reduced to £3800

  3. Open to sensible offers, bought another bike today, so could do with the cash....

  4. 002.JPG 1200 Bandit no.5 :cool: not everyone's cuppa tea, but I love em :cool::cool:
Full Akraprovic, stage 2 dynojet, K&N, 124 brake at the wheel, all new fluids all round, calipers all recently rebuilt, braided hoses all round, Hagon shock, and fork springs, new Renthals, Datatagged, runs and rides absolutely spot on.

    Well chuffed with it.

El Bandido !!! Love 1200 Bandits - the most bang for your buck !!

It's an early one too - the best to have. The later ones got more bland, the earlier ones really delivered. I had that bike (not literally, but same colour/same motor/same mods) the only thing that let mine down was poor suspension, but that motor !!!!!!!

The suspension, and brakes are what let most Bandits down, both easily sorted though.
It feels ballistic after trundling round on the Bonnie for a year. Unfortunately though, the Bonnie has to go now :(
I will let it go for £3700

  7. Thanks mate, I know it's cheap, but could do with the money now.

  8. Cheers mate, I was sad to see it go, I really liked it, but needs must, an all that...
We can still have a brew one day though !
At least I can get on with my dayvan now, and keep the Mrs happy with a new bathroom

Shame it had to go - but enjoy the Bandit.
Love the Bonnie to bits but am really enjoying the extra grunt of the Trident!

  10. Thanks steve, it's gone to a good home, a young lad and his dad bought it between them. They bought it for the young lad really, he was about to take his test, so would be his first big bike. Hopefully he passes with no drama's, and enjoys his new Bonnie
I can crack on with my dayvan conversion now :D

Good choice for a first big bike (as was mine!) - glad it's gone to a good home.
