    Hello,

It was not running when I bought it, was told fuel pump was out, then it was placed in climate controlled storage for four years. Replaced the fuel pump, it started priming, and after getting other issues fixed, got it running. Put in about 130 miles over three successive days, and it just died while riding it. Fuel pump no longer priming, and the ECU gives 'no error codes'. I'm thinking about replacing all the components in the fuel assembly BUT the pump, since it was working. Any ideas, please?

Also, what message will we get when running the diagnostics, if the ECU itself goes bad?

    Thanks!

    Jeff

    Have you checked the fuses?

Some bikes have filter integrated with the pump, is your tank clean?

Have you checked to see if there is voltage supply going to the fuel pump ? Check with a voltmeter.

I posted this question in TriumphRat and The Triumph Forum. Thanks for the all the great ideas, first of all!

I checked all the fuses, they are good. Also checked the fuel pump relay with jumper wires, clicks like it should. The filter, tank and fuel pump assembly were all cleaned with carb cleaner. The fuel pump was used, taken from a wrecked T595 prior to sale. I tested it with jumper wires before putting it in. Just got so thrown off by the lack of error codes, never occurred to me to test it again the same way after it stopped running! Fuel pump is NOT working.

Also someone else has seen the lack of error codes when a fuel pump failed. So a new fuel pump is next on the agenda.

    Thanks again!
