Hi all, silly question but I'm new to Triumph, just had this bike today and it started and ran but now the battery is flat now and don't know how to get the seat off, I'm guessing the battery is under there, it's not that I'm not mechanical I've built a Kawasaki H2 special from a frame, it's just rather than snapping something I thought it easier to ask you guys
    Thanks in advance
    :)

I dont know about a daytona but could it be the same as the sprints?? On them there is a keyhole midway below the seat and swinging arm on near side, insert your ignition key and turn as you lightly press down on the back of the seat, the lock should then release the back of the seat, and it lifts away. Sorry if this is no use to you.

Dave just figured it out thanks, it's very low and I thought it might be a helmet lock of some kind
Thanks for the quick reply though
