1994 Triumph Trophy 900 Cam Chain Tensioner

    Hi can anyone tell me if i can change the Cam Chain Tensioner Spring on my 900 trophy with out having to remove the cam cover to line up the TDC marks and how would i keep the tension on the cam chain while removing the spring. Many thanks.

    I think you are going to have to take the cam cover off to be honest.

    Also from memory if you are having issues with the cam chain tension then you may need to look at replacing the cam chain blades as well as I would suggest they are going to be worn as well.
