'09 Bonnie Se Twitchy Throttle

Hi Folks
I know this has been covered before but I wanted to get your opinions before I start waving spanners at my lovely new bike.
I'm new to EFI so I thought maybe I just needed to get used to it but I'm not loving the Jerky throttle thing. Having done some googling it seems that a lot of folk have removed the AI wotsit. Do you think this is the way to go?
Would there be any issues with just pulling the hose from the airbox and plugging it up and plugging up the airbox hole? Will the bike run ok like this so that I can test it before I buy the resistor kit and remove the AI wotsit completely?

Never mind, I found the other thread. I tried the marble fix, it made a huge difference. Throttle is so much smoother now. I'll definitely be getting rid of the AI crap.
