I have recently become the Owner of a 2009 Bonnie, now I have put some miles on it I have some questions which I hope fellow Owners can assist with ;-
I've only owned sports Bikes before so I am trying to be objective.
Front Suspension seems very soft, is it just a matter of Thicker Fork Oil or are there any stiffer springs available ?
Back Shocks, Bouncy ? and Harsh all at once , obviously the standard shocks have limited adjustment, any recommendations of units available with Preload / Rebound etc adjustment.
And Finally, is there any way of raising the Ride Height as I could do with a Tad more leg room.
Intend to go European Touring next year so will be ridden two up with Luggage, BTW I'm 14 Stone and 6'2".
Apart from the above have to say Its a very nice bike, one that I can see me keeping and enjoying for many years !
    Thanks in advance - Bruce

Hi Brulan, here's a few thoughts:
    1. Re front suspension - lots of peeps fit progressive sprints, by Progressive or TEC.

    2. Rear suspension - favorites are TEC or Hagon shocks;

    3. More room required - dépends whether you mean seat to floor distance or seat to pegs?

    Thank you both very much.
As a commercial venture I am looking to get Seats remade and Short Mudguards so I think an experiment with a Thicker Seat may be an option

I guess I mean Seat to Pegs, may be happy to lower the Pegs yes less Ground Clearance, but my Knee Sliding days have passed without notable adverse incident ! !

Well Ordered some TEC Back Shocks should be here Monday,
In the meantime lowered the Pegs by 25 mm and fitted a Flyscreen.
Have to say what a difference both of those mods have made,
    Getting Progressive Fork Springs next,
Not sure about the Seat comfort, hope lowering the Pegs will improve things !

Well lowering the Pegs (AND taking the time to adjust the Back Brake lever) has made the Seat more comfortable, 120 miles in one hit and all good as in good not great but good
The Flyscreens made cruising at 65 tolerable, starting to fall for this Plodder !
