I have,I believe now got a faulty TPS.
Tuneece came up with error P0122,readings on a multi-meter showed very lumpy results when opening the throttle.
The plan is,once again to take parts off my donor bike...just swap the whole throttle body assembly and see how I get on.The other bike is identical,as is the ECU.
I know I'm only dreaming/fantasising that it will be as simple as that.but I would be foolish not to first seek advice first.
As said,I do have Tuneecu, cable and tablet but am crapping myself, way out of depth if anything serious needs doing with this.
If anyone can guide me..I would be very grateful.
    cheers.

What symptoms are you getting apart from the fault code, to make you think the TPS is faulty?
If you’ve got another set of throttle bodies available then swapping them over will be your best bet as you’ll need to take them off to just replace the TPS anyway.
Remember, you’ll need to ensure that your TPS voltage is set to 0.6V +/- 0.05V with a closed throttle, using Tuneecu. And be aware that Tuneecu does not show full throttle as 100% :)

    Thanks for the reply Freck.
got the swap done and found she would start but not run without playing with the throttle, cut out within 5 seconds or so if left untouched.
was still showing error p0122..so just trying my luck...I cleared the error code..reset the TPS and touchwood, all is just about there I 'think'.
went for a 5 mile jaunt round local and must be honest she is much better, quite lively.
TPS voltage is showing at .569,.throttle at 0.0%.
Is that near enough or is there still something to be done.
It does feel like I can trust her like this..she had a amind of her own before.
    cheers.

TPS is just within limits so you should be fine with that. Mine’s actually just out of limit and runs great.
Did you do a throttle body balance before resetting the TPS?
You could also try a ‘12 minute tune’ to reset the fuel trim adaptations once a balance is done.

Hi Freck, I thought the 12 min tune was for the 1050 set up ??

I’ve read that it works for the 955s as well. It’s just to reset the fuel trim adaptations.
I did it on mine and noticed a difference, though that could have just been down to the repairs I’d done.
