The connector wiring shows signs of verdigris, oxidation of the copper cores. Caused by water ingress. Verdigris causes HR's, high resistances....

Ive got one and used it on my Bonnie without issues, just use a wooden block under the sump between the exhausts. Great bit of kit. Really well built

Had similar problem with Lidls impact gun, got the bit in, but could not get the bastid out......Grrr Had to use a pair of mole grips to pull it...
