Hi everyone i say im a newbie but ive owned a daytona in the past and parted ways shortly after two fried stators and rectifier and numerical other issuses i swore then i wouldnt buy another triumph but here i am again with a 99 tiger 855i and worse still more electrical gremlins but im going to try my damned hardest with this old girl so my apologies in advance if im bending your ears for help and advise shes my first adventure bike as more used to the super sports and i must admit a fondness for a v twin ive owned a few rsv's tlr's so hopefully il soak up some helpful tips and if possible chip in with what knowledge i have Thanks guys
G'Day Bb74 and welcome to the forum I too have an ' old' Triumph lol - its a '98 Trophy 1200. As someone else said, persevere mate they are great motorcycles to have and ride Cheers Gary
Welcome! I have owned my 955i Tiger for under a year and love it so far! Also had a couple of very minor electrical issues, but nothing to worry about. Hope you get sorted

Thank you all for the warm welcome and grateful for the best wishes regarding my tiger im hoping il sort it out today and can get back to enjoying the old girl again it does seem after going numerous old posts im not the only one to have encountered the cylinder 3 issue although there has been the odd one or two that never found the problem also looks like im going to have to download the full tune ecu as the demo version wont let you reset the engine management light or clear any codes
