Thankfully we weren't so camera obsessed in those days so I can spare inflicting them on you :)
I can inflict a rather boring video of me whilst riding if you want. Was posted to YouTube as a test of me using a video editor and a couple of friends wanting to see how good the quality of the camera was.
You don't see me in it, not that daft yet :)

I had 2 900's, one MK2 in Blue which I did a Lands End to John O'Groats run and the MK1 Red one, in the pic, that had a number plate starting B666 :)

Here's one of my Bandit 12's in an unnatural environment at Cadwell....
And a pic of the lock stops after it tried to kill me with a slide and a tank slapper coming out of Charlies

1990 yesteryear, lol. You want yesteryear, here you go ,,, and for this forum I'm still a mere stripling. Uncle's '58 Dommie, summer '58 or '59. Note the mandatory oil puddle. We did a ton that day, stretching it down Rockingham Hill over the River Welland to Caldecott. I thought it was fun. I'd brick it these days even on a modern bike, up front and in control.

Circa 1957/58, Royal Enfield 125 or may have been a 150, outside the family home looking across to the village of Moulton. Picture taken by my elder sister using her new Kodak Brownie camera.
We didn't have a car until 1960 and this was dads transport.
School was a good mile + walk into the village, so I would have dinner in the school canteen.
If I knew dad was home, occasionally I'd make an excuse to go home at dinner time and generally waste time at home.
Dad would then have to give me a lift back to school with me sitting on the rear carrier,,, ,,,that was it I was hooked and have been ever since.

UncleLukeonmotorcycle.jpg This was my Uncle Luke who started me on bikes at age 6 riding the pillion on his Indian. He bought this right at end of WW2. Enlisted at age 17 and fought in the Pacific theatre. He was my mentor. Great thread idea and though I'm not in this photo you get the idea.
