I am fully with you Bruce! Loved SOA as well. Great soundtrack too! One of my favorite playlists... We have a good word for what you are doing right now: Entschleunigung (something like deceleration). For me, it works quite well. Slows down your heartbeat and enables you to really savour the moment. Hope you love the new bike! Cheers!
Haha it does look good, I'll give you that, don't see much high speed cornering happening on it though
My gaffer's got one of them, looks and sounds top class, says reliability ain't so good but you couldn't pry it away from him. Personally I think he just like being able to drive about dressed like a 1920s pilot..... chocks Away!!
I wouldn't take a bank draft even. I sold a second-hand 5 Series ten years ago on the back of a bank draft. I paid it into the bank and the next day their fraud team called and implied I was a fraudster. So whilst I wouldn't be too keen to give out my bank details, I think cleared funds into it is the best option.
Yes Rich! One of the few vehicles that brings one of these permanent grins onto your face. That is, if it does not break down. The SALESMAN here said, he would not want me to buy one, since I live too far from their maintenance. That is something to say for a guy who makes his living selling cars. But they got better, I heard. The first owners were the beta-testers, as we say... I still love them...
True. It really put those permanent grins on our faces from the moment we heard it coming in to the car park in Billing till the moment we waived goodbye at the destination pub, The World's End. This one is four years old, one of the first of the new model. The owner said he bought it only after the first owner had fully test driven all the kinks out of it.
Welcome buddy. I hope it all works out well for you. All the best buddy. As others said, you will get good response for your bike once the weather picks up
Hi Bruce and welcome to the forum. I'm not far from you and my sister is even nearer in Summerseat. Nice bike by the way. Maybe if you can make it to the 2nd Grand Meet Up in July we can ride up together.
Sounds like a plan Andy. You know what all these years I've been riding (27 years) I've never bothered with meets or any decent ride outs but with this Speedmaster I really feel it would be just the ticket! Whereabouts are you pal?
Shaw near Oldham. I went on last years rideout and I can honestly say I met a great bunch of lads, just don't tell them I said so. I daresay too that there will be quite a few meeting up on the ride up to Keilder.
