MY FIRST TRIUMPH (WELL I HAVE TRIUMPH CAR ASWELL )

Hi and welcome to the forum.
The only Triumph car I ever had was a 1500 bought from an auction in Manchester for £30.00!

 

I think I pretty much re-built my Herald from breakers yards.

 

Over the years, I do seem to have been strangely attracted to Triumphs.
On the bike side of things I have had a 1960 Speed Twin 5TA 500cc
a 1969 Bonneville T120 650cc
a 1995 Trident 900 - bought new and which I still own
a 2002 Daytona 955i Centennial.

On the car side of things I have had a 1972 Triumph 2000 Mk11 manual with overdrive
a 1972 Triumph 2000 Mk 11 automatic (replaced the above which was written off after the then current SWMBO destroyed it - not her fault and without injury)
a 198? Triumph Acclaim aka Honda Ballade (I think - could be a Civic ... or not!).

Not a bad vehicle amongst them.

 

You can't beat two wheels , enjoy the bike!

 

and such beautiful colour... And shock horror, it is a lot cleaner than mine!
