Hello All, I am thinking of buying a new bike but not 100% sure of what I have always like Triumphs. The wish list goes like this ABS. Light and easy to push about (getting in out of my Garage). Not overly intimidating. Look to spend around the £3000 mark Dave
Hi n welcome, i doubt you will find an ABS bike for £3000 but you will find some early Triumphs for that sort of money that should please you
Hi welcome in, sounds like a street triple might rock your boat, but to get a decent abs for that price might be hard
Welcome buddy You should be able to pick up an older speed triple (955) with low mileage . Then again you might get lucky as it's winter n bike value drops. Check out this ebay item number : 291795578139 All the best
I have looked at Triumph SpeedTriples recently (just out of curiosity) and I think they have actually gone up in price! So I think in general they are holding their value well. You could search Autotrader and filter by make and then value, see what options come up. There is this Daytona 650 2005 model with 8,000 miles @: £2,995 Should be quite light, but no ABS Or this Sprint 950 2004 @ £2,500 with ABS but over 46k miles
the second link doesnt work, went on autotrader site and there are a couple of "950" Sprints with ABS listed, dont know if the details are correct but mkaybe worth a couple of calls for you?? dealers tho, mmmmmmm
Hi and welcome to the forum. Have to agree with the above - doubt you'll get a Triumph with ABS for that money.
Welcome to the forum Sonic Plenty of good advice on here Take your time buying, no rush at this time of year and test ride if possible.
The Bandit 1250 I had was very unnerving when the ABS cut in. When you hit the brakes hard enough, it would cut in and it felt like you lost half the pressure at the lever . It did it's job but wasn't particularly subtle.
What the hell happened to that sphincter puckering moment when you think "will I? Won't I?" Man is all the excitement going out of motorcycling??
naaaa it must be really great knowing you cant drop it no matter what, lol Personally I hate all that crap, same with motogp, they should let the rider decide Sorry, welcome in and good luck with whatever you decide to buy. Just havin a rant
