Smile of the day

I got one MrOrange, makes me smile seeing all these HD adverts on our triumph forum !!!

Wasn't sure whether to put this in rant of the day or not..but as the outcome made me smile I'll put it in here.
Driving up to Forfar the other day and the roads were slippy,this dick head in a big 4x4 goes tanking past..because he has a 4x4 he thinks it doesn't matter if the road is slippy,anyway a few miles up the road he has ended up in a ditch

Stopped in traffic this morning while alongside a bus. Inside was a young lad (6-7 year old i'd say) looking bored as hell.
I rev the bike and give him a wave, got the biggest smile back.

 

I can relate to that, got to the bottom of a hill when 2" of snow had just dumped down. Porche 4x4 was trying and failing miserably, so I overtook her in my Renault Megan, 2nd gear nice n easy on the throttle and the hill wan't a problem. I would love to have seen her face.

 

I love it when that happens, I can remember (just) being that little lad once.

ordered my new Speed Triple today. Grinning from ear to ear

 

Everyone that has ridden an electric bike seems to be pleasantly surprised, the world speed record is 241mph! John Mcguinness did a 119.3 lap of the TT on one!

 

Been working with adults with learning difficulties , some with Down's syndrome for the past couple years , today I was in the local co op when someone shouted on me , I turned round to see a boy with Down's whom I had worked with for about a year about 6 months ago and hadn't seen him since . He was out with another support worker. He came up to me and gave me a bear hug and said he missed me and when was I coming back to work with him. That made my day today

Now I know you won't believe this but I'm just off the phone to Churchill Insurance as I wanted to put my daughter on the car insurance for tomorrow and Wednesday only. I asked the girl at customer services how much this would add and she says "nothing" !!!

First time in my puff an insurance company has made me smile....... I told her that too. I was really expecting the usual humping. Good old Churchill........ love that dog so I do..
