    Hello

Last bike was a 675 Daytona back when they first came out, so been off 2 wheels for a number of years now.

However today got a cracking deal on a new Speed Triple, last of the runouts before latest model. Good to be back on a Triumph :)

    Cheers Dave

Welcome to the Jungle DJW great pictures. I honestly don't mind the grab rail, as it helps to have something solid to hold on to when you are putting the bike on the paddock stand

Cheers all. Test rode the new R version today but tbh the suspension was too stiff for Cotswold roads around here.

Also tried the Thruxton which surprised me how well it rode.

    Welcome Dave,
Like the bike, take it steady if you've been away from biking for a while.

Main reason for going open, to take it easy vs days gone by with sports bikes and fairings and inevitable speeds.

    Older and wiser now ;)

Lol I must admit this will purely be a toy for pleasure. The other toy in the garage with roof and heater is for cold and wet days ;). hmmmmm why did I buy a bike at start of winter

Was meant to be picking the bike up today but it wasn't ready, so I've put back to next week now. Ordered the rad covers in meantime which will get fitted before I pick it up :)
