How difficult are handle bar risers to fit and can you recommend any .got a 12plate 1050 . Ta in advance
This is what I have fitted to my Speedy http://www.triumphrat.net/forum.php#/topics/596074?_k=9v3xwc Mark
Higher bars would be a good idea .its just getting the rite ones .could do with getting some and trying them up against the bike .
Do you have a local store where you could pop along on your bike and place them next to yours as a guide, to give you an idea the 50mm rise Rizoma bars i have can give me upto an extra 1" in height or pull back depending what angle i set them at over the standard bar
I think it's worth mentioning that once the bars have been raised, all may look well at first glance. Be worth getting the front end up in the air (suspended from above or lifted from the headstock area) to check FULL unrestricted/unfouled movement of the steering from left to right. Speaking from experience ya see. ATB Bob
Piece of cake on my 2016 S. I bought the SWMOTO 28mm dia. with 30mm rise in the silver color. They fit perfect and do not restrict the cables. Easy install and I got the correct torque setting which is 23 nm. I love the ergonomics and I no longer am sliding forward in the saddle as much.
Don't have a link as i got them from Morespeed Racing just up the road from me, they are the 50mm fat bar and they fitted my 16 ST3 with no probs, cables no issue on lock to lock. You do have to cut off the little pins on the plastic switch gear as the new bars have no holes for them.
Try this guy http://www.tripletek.eu/20mm-spacer-kit/4586581860 I'm sure he does the kits for the 1050 Mark
Here you go. http://shop.sw-motech.com/cgi-bin/c...cts.ergonomie.lenkererhoehung&typid=228373152 Do note - they say they are "B" as in blemish yet mine were flawless. I bought mine stateside from www.revzilla.com. CHEERS, Chris
SW Motech (buy direct) are fine as desertspeedy says-easy to fit in 15 mins and no cabling issues.just make sure you have medium thread lock to prevent comedy handle bars after a few miles. had mine 18months now and love em.
if you have the bar size then yes. You need to check the bar width where the clamp is as its wider there and tapers down towards the ends. Looks like this eBay riser use your existing top clamp so if the width is good you should be fine. just make sure you get the thread lock!
