    Have we got any greenlaners on here? Always fancied a go, especially with having motocross bikes for years.

    If so what bikes and kit do you use?

    DRZ 400... Bullet proof and easily repairable....
    Motocross boots cheap off EBay, £40 motocross helmet.. Old bike jacket
    Great fun at sensible speeds... And loads cheaper....

    I like the DRZ good solid bikes and cheep as chips to fix when you brake them too. Got all the MX kit already so I am tempted.

    Saw somewhere people doing scooter cross, cheep c90s or Peugeot scooters with knobbly tyres on, not fast but looked good fun

    Used to go laneing years ago on a '56 Royal Enfield 250cc clipper an old barber jacket and openface helmet and be ready to get muddy thats when it fun LOL :upyeah:

    on 8-10 yeares ago and i still have it ,i'm not really that old just had old bikes :wink:

    and easier to work on ,i look under the bonnet of my current car and just close th:upyeah:e bonnet again ,same with the old bikes very little to go wrong

    Yep older is easier ... That's why I like the DRZ... I got a C reg with under 3K miles on it....happy days....
