    Hi all,

I was wondering if any of you have used Dragging Jeans, they are not cheap so thought I would ask for some advice.

Anyone got them, anyone crashed in them and what do you think?

    Recommend or not

    Thanks in advance

    Paul

I usually wear mine in summer with my stubby Richa leather jacket. Obviously nothing like the protection offered by stuff with proper armour but has to be better than ordinary jeans or Pig's preferred riding gear of T-shirt, shorts and flip-flops.

Sorry, I thought I answered this. They're fine, not as much protection as armoured stuff but I feel OK using them. Mind you I don't make a habit of coming off the bike! As I've said in other posts, to me riding is mostly to do with your head and they give me enough confidence to have fun. Personally I think they're a good product and well worth the money. Hope this helps. B

Anything is good until your sliding along the road on your arse though. They won't stand up as well as leathers but better than shorts, you pay your money you take your chances

    Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.....

I have some sartso jeans, and I guess as some of you have said they are long and don't offer as much protection as leathers etc.
Great if you just want to go for a bimble.

!! Funny as f*ck! and I thought this forum was gonna be different after 1000rr! but no the humour is just the same - love it!

By the way I've got some RST jeans with Armour in the knees, seem ok so far (not had an off in them) wind proof because of the Kevlar weave, comfy and look ok when wandering around :upyeah:

I have some of the Triumph Kevlar lined jeans - wore them when I did a bit of cruiser riding (Thunderbird) and they were great but on the triple I just dont feel protected enough in them!

I got a pair, force field knee and hip armour, the armour makes your knees sweat but they are comfy.
As the others say ok for short trips, at the end of the day though, stats show most accidents happen within three miles of home so that short run could still be a costly one...
But still way better than standard jeans....

I've had my draggin's for quite a while and have two off with them (one very big one as well and they still are as good as new (which is more than I can say for my ribs)
pretty much wear these all the time now as my leather have seemed to shrunk rather a lot over the winter  and will most probally look to get some knee pads to go underneath for the summer. Also must get the zip on my leathers fixed to put it on E Bay and see If I can get a reasonable price replacement for them.
