hey guys. Bought a 2011 street triple a few months ago and I have a leak! Getting drips from both sides of the radiator so was thinking it may just be a pipe rather than the radiator itself. Any common parts that may go? Have tried to look but can't see anything obvious apart from the drips at both corners.

I have three triples in the house all of them have had temp/radiator problems different symptoms. new radiator caps have been the resolution for all of them. difficult to say if this is the same issue but I know the caps were only a few quid.

I was told to avoid repair products? Bike engines can't handle them like cars?

The issues with the cap isn't visible unfortunately. The only way to check is if you replace with a new one.

Who told you that? An engine is an engine. As long as you are choosing the right product it will work.

You are totally right. He asked for common faults. I shared my experience. As you probably know tracing a drip back to source is thought. Particularly when the heat of a radiator evaporates the path of the drip- arduous and joyless task.

Not the radiator cap :(. Have found the leak though. There is wee plugs on the side of the radiator. The bottom one of these is leaking. I have a friend who might be able to weld it for me but if this fails, looks like a new radiator. Cheapest I can find one is £430! Anyone know of a reliable refurb company? Used to be hundreds for cars but now I can't even find these companies.

when I needed a new fan for one of mine I rang around all the bike scrappys I could find and saved myself £100+ quid. give it a go.
Dozer is right though a radiator is a radiator so take it to a car one. (so glad you found the leak- they are a bitch to find sometimes- also sorry it wasn't the cap)
