well just been out on it for my first ride really nice engine sounds lovely no nasty noises. initially i thought it was a bit uncomfortable then i noticed something that i never noticed yesterday when it was delivered it has motech bar risers fitted so the seat is leaning me forward in a slightly sporty position and then the bars are lifting me back up straight again so there coming off.
but ill tell you what this thing flies why you would want any more power on naked bike on the road i dont know perhaps im just old
handles ok the front is a little to soft and the rear is definitely to hard so need to make a few adjustments overall well pleased with it even sounds nice with the standard cans on it though they wont be staying on there to long:grinning:

That’s not many miles at all. My Rally Pro had 15000 on at less than 2 years old. Bikes with very low mileage would always be a worry for me if buying. Looks a lovely bike particularly in that colour scheme.

20200514_104049.jpg l fitted a Scorpion lowboy type silencer on mine, which reduced weight by around 8 kilos and took a whole load of high mass off. Steering was far better, :)

I had my shock and forks redone by MCT, made a huge difference.

Looks sweet, just like the one I had only mine had SC cans on it which sounded the nuts. Great performance but as you give touched on, let down by awfully hard suspension (for me at least). Fiddled for ages with it but no joy, in the end just backed everything off on the rear end and put up with it. Get that sorted and you’ll love it even more! Congrats.

I will see how I get on with it I intend keeping it for a few years so might even think about upgrading the shock

I'm laughing at the sign behind your bike, @MightyBoosh, not at your bike. :joy::joy::joy: Your bike is lovely and can't imagine it would ever be laughed at. Plus I'm partial to Speed Triples. ;)

Enjoy that new-to-you Speed Triple, @bob1! I've had my Speed Triple RS for six years now and absolutely love it. It's a joy to ride and I hope that you find that with yours, too. Probably more so after you swap out the bars, it sounds like.

A sad day when it went, for sure. And equally sad, that pub is now closed. Was up there today...

I guess that old maxim "All good things must come to an end" is true. These days I hope it's equally true that all bad things must come to an end. Enjoy your memories of both your Speed Triple and the pub.
