Hi,I bought a 2011 sprint gt about a month ago and want to get the c spanner for the eventual chain adjustment process. Reading a few threads suggests it can be a bit of a faff if using the wrong tool..
Can anyone suggest a good c spanner to buy? Thanks.

I bought a one piece thing off Ebay, chap in Yorkshire l think who laser cuts them. I bent it outward slightly to make it a bit less awkward, worked fine for me. Still got it, although my triples are long gone...

    It has not arrived yet.
    Time will tell.
I'm in that phase where I'm working out all the basics like oil changes etc.

My Speed Triple chain rarely needs adjusting and it's much easier to do on the paddock stand with the wheel off. So tyre changes are a good time to do it if the timing is right. I also use one of those extended single piece tools which is much better than the 2-piece Triumph one that comes with the bike.

I still have the 2-piece unit for my 2011 Sprint GT. It works fine, although the chain hasn't needed many adjustments in 18,000 miles. New fork seals and valve adjustment, however, but the chain is still in spec after a single adjustment.
