@JOE180 Welcome back mate. You know you don't have to ride a Triumph to participate on the forum we welcome you back no mater what bike you ride. We do like to see pictures so if you get the chance mate. Hit the upload a file button bottom right corner and show us the bike you favour.

Welcome back to the forum Joe. I had the opportunity to ride a Street Twin last year and thoroughly enjoyed it, lovely machine.

Love to see some photos! There's a lot to be said for a nimble thing for shorter rides and errands. In my case, the Sprint GT 1050 is the "nimble thing" compared to my Trophy SE 1215! Fortunately, they both have good cases (and top boxes), so they serve my grocery runs just fine! A little tight for the warehouse club (Costco) visits, though! :)

Hi, and welcome to the forum. The Street Twin (or Speed Twin 900 as it's now called) is a good bike but you might find it a little under-powered compared to your XJR 1300. If you can, get a test ride on as many of the Triumph modern retros as you can. Compare the T100 and the 900 Speed / Street Twin, but note that the earlier bikes both had just 54 bhp. The T100 gained the 64 bhp engine from I think 2021, while the Street / Speed Twin 900 got the 64 bhp engine somewhat earlier, from 2019. Then there's also the somewhat heavier T120 and the sportier Speed Twin 1200. The latter two both have the 1200 engine but the Speed Twin 1200 has an extra 20 bhp and weighs about 16kg less compared to the T120. It's horses for courses, they're all good bikes it's just which particular model suits you best.
