Check out Lamb Chop Rides youtube channel. He's just bought an SP. Several vids on the Hornet already. Sure to be lots more. His first ride vid on the standard Hornet is interesting. He seems very positive overall.

Wow looks like a great day. The suns out today and every now and then I here a triple or four howling down the nearby A49: And I have to be in the office: unamused:.

Back in the 1980s when I was an apprentice technician living and working in Malvern, those roads in Wales were often my preferred destination for holidays and longer rides, they really are very picturesque and interesting to ride. Didn't have the Baffle Haus back then, really must get there some time.

The sheep were a pain back then as well. Often found sheep warming themselves on warming tarmac and not choosing to move until the very last minute and then in an unpredictable direction.

    Enjoy your days off:cool:.

I went to Aberystwyth via Devils' Bridge today and sat by the seaside in the sunshine. A bit foggy through Crossgates as it always has its own little gloomy weather system up there, but otherwise lovely! 180 miles today :).

I have just had a little trip to Shobdon for some breakfast (porridge) and a ride round the local area today…thought I had better invest a few hours in cleaning the Striple after the past couple of days rather than ride all day again…

I did my first office tour with my Rocket today. Temperatures from 0 degrees celsius in the early morning up to 16 degrees in the late afternoon. I love it to ride in warm weather!
"Stormi" behaved like an angel on my 130 kilometres office and back home tour! ;)

Enjoyed a couple of hours out on the Tiger, wearing a pair of daytona boots.Has anyone found the serrated rear brake area too small..I fitted an extension to my bmw, cost about a tenner and made things so much easier and comfortable. But can't see one for triumph, would also like to extend the gear lever tip..I've got wee feet :)

I've got one of the front brake calipers off my Speed Triple in bits. One of the pistons was sticking, so giving a good cleaning. Not sure if I will replace the seals as they all look in very good condition.

Took the Tiger out for a run round today to make the most of the fine weather. Ended up in Southport as usual and was pleased how busy it was at the pier.

No photographs but it did happen honest:).

Having got work out of the way this morning, I just couldn't resist the sun so I went out for a gentle spin around some of our local roads for about an hour, landing at the Four Ways on the way home for a coffee, the car park was very busy, clearly many others had had the same idea.

Temperature was perfect, roads still with a bit of salt dust on them, but dry and warm:). Was a little concerned that the bike felt a bit squirmy, so checked the tyre pressures when I got back: 2.15 bar front (should be 2.2:)) 0.95 bar rear (should be 2.5:worried:!).

Cos I was in a hurry to get out, all I'd done was a firm push on the tyres thinking I'd feel any serious softness. A thorough inspection of the tyre shows no nails etc, but I will check the tyre again later this week.

Avon must make their tyres strong, with my Bonny standing on its side-stand the tyre didn't look at all flat; and on the road all I got was a slight squirm on poor road surfaces (and I'm 14 stone before getting my gear on).

Moral of the story, check tyres before riding: unamused:.

    Enjoy the ride:cool:.

With summer all but over in the southern hemisphere, today was the perfect day to catch up with a long term friend I hadn't seen for quite a while.
A very relaxing ride around the lower Hunter Valley (New South Wales, Australia) and then a extended chat session at a favourite cafe. Whats not to like.
