Hi I'm Matt, and today I'm riding the bus because my 2004 S3 decided against the zero degrees outside of the garage and stayed put (again). Found this forum whilst searching for 'how to' answers. Normally American ones pop up so it was nice to see the names of English towns on comments!
Taken after her almost daily wash (they love to grit up here) after the daily commute. Not bad considering she's gone through 3 winters so far.

@MattJST Welcome to our family. Think zero degree's i would be staying at home to. If the bike is not camera shy then we would like to see a picture. Just hit the upload a file button right and bingo we can see the bike. This is by far the best forum to find And our American brothers and sisters are just as helpful and friendly.
I've uploaded a pic, it's just waiting for admin approval. Also, I got home (it's sunny now) and reattached the fully charged battery and she started. Then didn't. Then did. So this weekend I will mostly be sat on the floor of my garage trying to work out why...
Welcoem mate and yes its horrible down on the south coast so the bike has been in the garage a lot. Looks like the sun is comming out so lets hope we can get some good riding days. Cheers
The ice has just recently disappeared from the lake near me, so I don't want to hear any complaining! Pretty bike! Sorry, I'm in New Jersey (US), but I did live in Hull for a time!
My 'bike does all the complaining about the cold Hopefully the full service and couple of repairs I've booked it in for this week will help. I see you do reviews of garages so I'll try remembering to do one.
