No remorse. No apology. I wouldn't be surprised if he does something similar when he's released. I doubt there's any way to get through to people like him.

Shame he didn’t hit one of the posts the other way round and delete himself, rather than just break his leg

One of those faces you would slap until your ears fell off!
It would have been so tempting to stamp on his broken leg, just for a laugh

With a head injury like that you think he'd be brain dead, Na more than like already brain dead.
    Shame he survived really.

When I spent a lot of LDR time on the road, we called people like that squids. Because they are soft and squishy. Wheel thieves aren't very popular in jail. With that attitude, he's not going to have a good time there.

Here in the U.S., he's lucky he didn't run afoul of Cora Cataract in her big blue Cadillac.

If that had been a normal accident, you'd have waited 20 mins at least for attendance then been breathalysed, but no he got pampered, stole a bike, put lives at risk ,what a joke!

and I'll add let the person who dialed 999 thinks they might have a headache be a priority, just this once!

I can think of something better. Wait until he gets out of the hospital ward and tries to act tough around a REAL tough guy. Paddington Bear got along in prison because he didn't think he was tough. This little feller may need to be careful where he picks stuff up from on the floor. (Edited since my original missive was a bit less polite.)

Um...that wasn't what I edited out. Your idea is more polite.

Why no, I don't have any use for wheel thieves.
