    Hi
New to the forum...wonder if you can help me?
    I recently aquired a 2017 Street Scrambler 900 (DC01).
I have a couple of Triumph aluminium expedition panniers i'd like to mount but struggling to identify an 'off the shelf' mounting solution.
Has anyone done this? Anyone know which (if any) mounting kit would fit the Scramber, or require the least modification?
    Thanks in advance.
    Dave

    Hi @Dave Hepworth

If I've understood your question correctly I fear you're going to be disappointed.

If You're talking about fitting the aluminium expedition panniers supplied by Triumph for the Tiger 800s 1200s and 900s they use completely different mounting systems to the panniers for the Bonneville Street and T100/120 twins.

I'm pretty sure that Triumph's Expedition Panniers are made by Givi, so your best chance of finding a mounting bracket for the Street Scrambler will be on the Givi website if such a thing exists.

If Givi don't make a mounting system then modifying a set of Givi brackets is going to be the way forward I wouldn't begin to know where to start with that. The other thing to bear in mind is that Triumph's rugged and leather pannier options for the Street Scrambler only have a LHS option because of the high exhaust on the RHS.

Despite the above enjoy your new bike the Bonnevilles are delight to ride.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere, although no personal knowledge or experience on this matter, that Givi products and Givi "Triumph" marked products are not fully interchangeable to make them something special.

Or something like the above, so a thorough check of detail needs to be done before purchase ;)

Looks like there isn't an off the shelf solution so i'm going to have to bodge modify what i've got.
I have a Rugged soft pannier mount on the bike and an expedition pannier that I want to fit (see pics).
The soft bag mount is suprisingly sturdy and will serve so long as i'm not offroading with a fully laden pannier.
Looks as though the expedition release system will unbolt from the pannier.
    Hmmm...
