I know this topic has been asked a lot of the years but I can’t find anything that pertains to the 2025 Thruxton RS Final Edition. I love the bike but I just don’t feel “good” on it. I’d like to have more foot on the ground. I’m already using Daytona GTX boots with 6cm lifts but it’s just not the right ergonomic for that comfort, like I get on my Bonneville T120 footing it while stopped.
What are the options? What should I look for? I’ve seen some say buying shorter shocks worked. Or some kind of bracket that lowers the OEM Ohlins shocks?
The FE seat height is 31.7”, my Bonneville T120 is 31.1”
Not far to go for comfort, shouldn’t mess too much with the dynamics, but a .6” drop (just 15.xx mm!!), how?
    Thanks!

I have an 04 Thruxton and found that setting the rear suspension to its softest setting helped lower the seat height. Not sure how this would affect your bike but an easy experiment perhaps?

Thanks for your help. I'm afraid the 04 Thruxton is a little different from the Final Edition. My rear suspension is Ohlins with the dampener and reserve. As it is currently set, according to the manual, it is the softest setting, within reason. The suspension is stupendous on the road but it doesn't lower it any.
I'm wondering if anyone has tried some kind of bracket that allows me to use my current suspension but lower it a little?
