Hello, I installed Triumph's engine protectors on my 765 RS a few months ago and some have gone ugly, with large stains appearing. Tried to and failed to remove the stains. Protector on the right side looks ok. The dealer has offered a refund if I return the item and told me it is a well-known issue.
Anybody else encountered the same problem?
    Thank you.

That looks bad for OEM case covers. I have the cheap Chinese knock off's case covers that looks so much better? Have you tried some plastic restorer?

Yes, looks bad and Triumph has refused my claim.
Plastic restorer: any to suggest? Never used it before.
    Thank you!

Try something like Meguiar’s Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer. I've had good results using this product, however there may be better plastic conditioners, restorers.
