    Much depends on ergos, at least for me. If I were to stick with the Triumph theme, the new 2025 Speed Twin 900 intrigues me. It's supposed to have a bit taller seat which I'm hoping will equate to just a bit more leg room. I love the Speed 1200, but it doesn't love me.
    I like both of the Kawasakis, but my old leg joints don't like the snug footpeg position.
    The Indian Scout proper is a nice bike but I don't like the Bobber. In fact, I'm not a bobber fan in general, Indian, Triumph etc.
    Good luck with your search.

    But nice to talk about, @joe mc donald! Your dream of a Manx Norton got HH and me off to a great start this morning talking about it. Despite his morning aches and pains, the mention of it enlivened HH with a great smile of agreement.:heart:

    Here are some nice machines currently up for sale, this is a trustworthy dealer, some machines are within reach of mere mortals, with a trusted and respected courier based in the UK should you purchase from him. He recently had a large amount of iconic Hondas for sale, some at very sensible money. Oh as an aside I haven't forgotten about the Rob North write up.

    Oooh, Joe! Please do keep us in the know. I know you...you say you're simplifying and cutting down the stable. Until a bike comes along and touches your heart and becomes a fixture in your thoughts. ;):joy:

    "Hmmmm" when looking at motorcycles is usually the start of something, @Mrs Visor! Or so my husband tells me. ;):joy:

    @joe mc donald

    Ha! I rest my case, Joe. I had just responded to your post about your interest in a Harris Bonneville. Then I saw THIS post that you're (also?!) chasing a Tiger 750. :p

    @Sandi T @Mrs Visor Here you go. Its a 2006 Super Glide with 3200 miles with mot and service history to support. Stage one with rack and rest. Was a lady owner who gave up riding and her Husband sold it to a dealer who gave me a top deal Woodburn Motorcycles to be exact. It has the original Tyres fitted which are hard and past their best date now. I have booked it into a Harley Dealer who is going to change them for Avon's and look at a engine light fault which I think just hasn't been reset. Do tell me what you thing great for my big head or make me sulk. Today had a nice new set of Avon tyres and the bike feels so much more planted even in the rain today. 1.jpg

    Nice machine. Take a few minutes to research 2006 Dyna inner primary bearing, maybe ask the dealer about it. I think I remember some quirkiness with that year...?

    @triumph900 Thanks mate. That's good info and a bit of a let down. I have the bike going in next Friday to a dealer called the bike shack to get new tyres fitted so i will get them to check for me. It seems a big old job.

    That's GREAT, Joe! Congratulations on your new-to-you Super Glide. My buddy, Russell, would be envious. When Steve got his 2001 Fat Boy last August, it got Russell itching for a bit of a vintage Harley. This one that you bought is a beauty. :heart_eyes: Hope your dealer check-up goes smoothly. And yes, new tires for you, my friend! Please keep us posted and share more photos, too.

    @triumph900 Yes been following this bike up. Apparently it was the five speed models with problems. This being a six speed was better but still suffers from the cam chain tensioner that can crumble around fifteen thousand miles.
