I took my Tiger for a ride yesterday. It's a 2012 ABS SE and it new to me.

My foot (size 13) has very little room inside the stock peg/lever combination.

I ordered some motorcycle boots that have a sleek profile and a less-pronounced heel. Those should help. They also have buckles instead of laces.

    I found this product:
    https://sw-motech.us/p/4052572242100?sku=FSC.11.619.10001

I believe that extending the shift lever 27mm while leaving the peg in the same position will make it easier for me to find gears and be more comfortable pushing up near my toes.

If anyone has encountered this, I'd appreciate any comments.

@Dan Zulu Have you tried the adjustment via the gear rod linkage.

I did not know there was an adjustment on the original. I'll look that up, thanks.

I am trying to extend the end of the shift lever further away from the peg, towards my toes. From what I've seen so far the adjustment only raises it or lowers it.

@Dan Zulu Check if the lever has a screw at the back of it. If t has just get a longer screw and some spacers.

I have this same annoyance with my size 12s. I'll take a look at that Motech part. Thanks for posting this.

I'm glad it is helpful. I looked at the lever, and don't see any provisions to extend the length of the lever, only to raise or lower it.
I could not find any manuals offering such a procedure either. Maybe I searched the wrong terms.
I found many online discussions and videos of large-footed people buying the SW Motech part, or fabricating their own extended lever. Everyone raves about the Motech part.

I will also appreciate the Motech's slightly laterally extended toe grip. I have to pigeon toe the factory lever.

If you know someone who is an engineer you could get one made for you, not difficult. If I recall correctly it is a standard thread on one end and a left hand thread on the other end.

Ugh, I just realized this part fits Tiger. Not Bonneville. Anyone know of a similar product for Bonneville?

    Hi,

Yes tried to get a left hand thread die to no avail. If there is a longer one id prefer that.

    Try Tracy Tools.
    Quite likely they'll have one.

Th reason i was after a left hand die was someone had messed th old thread up. In th end Triumph sorted it near buy. But its right at th end of th adjustment now so could fail again th future. Would there be a longer one on another triumph or another bike ???

@Trickle333 Have you tried just lowering the splined gear change by one spline to start with.

    Hi.
Yes iv done that and carnt go another tooth ether and at full adjustment its still isn't low enough. Because im "all legs" it makes my toe and top of th foot quite low. I like it just nearly touching th boot. Strangely 5th to 6th is a real stretch were th others feel closer together and more positive.

Iv seen bigger/fatter bobbin things that Harley riders use that go where th foot meets. Maybe that could be th answer but esthetically its abit of a no.

    Thanks for your interest.
