    Hi all,
Has any one got one of these and are they any good? I know there not a top brand name but it will sit in the garage most of the time.
    Thanks in advance

I had a Chinese made one very similar to that. Had it about three years and then the motor burned out. Got a Bruhl now.

I've had a METRO Vac'n'Blo for about 12 years now and never had a problem with it. It's probably more than paid for itself in terms of 'return on investment' for the amount of corrosion it's prevented over the years. It's hard to imagine how much water gets "trapped" in the unseen nooks and crannies of your freshly washed and rinsed machine, but once you've used a powerful blower on it, post wash/rinse you'll be amazed. I also bought a small "refurb" Bruhl dryer that is now on loan to the Blood Bike group for use when the liveried bike is returned to base and washed or rinsed - particularly useful at this time of year.

Any dryer is worth having but my advice would be to get the best you can afford - the little Bruhl seems to work very well - and one with a variety of nozzle adaptors to reach into some of the tighter areas. If you do a comparison look for "horsepower/wattage" rating and get the biggest you can afford. Just be careful where you point the narrow nozzle!

I've had of those for a few years now. It works well. I bought it purely to dry the bike after washing. They are a bit noisy on max blowing velocity.

Just pop some ear defenders in.

We have a cheap Chinese - made pet dryer off Amazon that looks very similar and does the job well.

Leaf blowers work fine but they blow cold air and they're unfiltered so any dirt and grit they suck up gets blasted at your bike. Only use in clean surroundings.

A dedicated bike dryer allows you to focus the blast. Brilliant for driving moisture out of fiddly spots like switchgear and chains. My KTM 1190 has done 60,000 miles and still scrubs up like new. That's entirely down to using a bike dryer (and ACF50..).
