Need Help To My Legend Tt 900

Hi everyone!

My name is Renato, and I have the only one Triumph Legend TT 900 of Brazil and unffortunatelly, I got problems in it during a trip.

I need new cylinders liners,and for my surprise, Triumph put this parts as unavailble last year

I want some help, if someone knows where I could find this, even as used parts.

Today I saw on eBay (image above) the liners of a tiger 885i (T509), I need to know if this part could be assembled in my T400 engine.

Hello Renato. Sorry to hear of your issues with the Legend.

The liners from the 885i Tiger should fit your machine. According to the parts list on FOWLERS web site the part numbers are the same (T1160682) for both models.

However, you need to be very cautious here as there was a lot of 'crossover' of production here as Triumph transitioned from the T300 (carb'd) to T500 (fuel injected) ranges.

In your shoes I would say go ahead and buy them - if they don't fit you could always sell them on - BUT it might be worth asking the seller for dimensions and clear pictures of the items. If you've got your legend stripped you might be able to check the measurements?
