Hi all ....had battery disconnected ..so reseting dash info for the first time..ignition on going throught the items its stuck on km...trying to change from km to mph ,,,any of the two buttons i push does nothing...its stuck there .....has the engine got to be running to get that done

Got it sorted...just ignition turned on then going through the list ...I pulling clutch lever and pushing button it changed to mph.......?? still dont know why i did that....or how it changed

Yes, the fuel gauge will come to life shortly after you start riding.

Yes, the light should go out as long as there are no fault codes remaining.

I pulled that tape off found nothing redo it putting tie wrap around the harness boot going into cluster.....i would just like to go over everything again, i pulled the front brake lever switch as the rear brake light was not always working..wd40 fixed that......I lifted the tank to put the two wires on the battery for the low amp charger connection...refit tank..now the time clock needs setting on the cluster, ignition red button down on so i spent twenty minutes trying to get the kms to mph ...ignition off...on ...(i didnt know until a day later the engine has to be running).... so i stopped at this point...started bike up all ok...left on charge overnight...next day no start no green N on cluster....no power to clutch switch...pulling wires etc it came back to life...starting up check engine light on
Today i went over everything trying to get it to do the same thing...no luck...pulled all the main fuses cleaned them...checked the ignition wires under battery all ok....anyone know where the clutch switch gets its power from
