Greetings! I am a 71 year old Vietnam-era Veteran and long time bike rider. Had a Norton Commando in my early years and many others since. Traded in my big, heavy, unwieldly Harley for a Moto Guzzi V85tt adventure, but I also ride a 2003 Triumph Street Triple 955i when I feel like throwing it around the many cornering roads in CT. I am a member of the Triumph Owners MCC, New England, USA. Happy to be here. I do have a problem I need help with. I recently have done a "tune up" . I did fluid checks, etc. I decided to change spark plugs while doing the air filter. The right and middle ones were no issue, both dry and clean, but when I took off the coil pack on the far left one, it was stuck. I finally got it out and it was wet. Didn't smell like gas or coolant, but it did stink. Anyway, no joy when trying to remove the plug. Stuck solid. Blew out the hole to make sure no gunk was in there, tried drying it, nothing. Put some PB Blaster down it, left it for 3 days, blew it out again, still no joy. Don't want to break anything, so any suggestions on what to try next? I hope it isn't cross-threaded. Had a "mechanic" do it the last time, hope he didn't screw it up.

@TripleDonald Firstly welcome to the family. Tricky one here. What i have done in the past for similar items is soak it with plus gas for a few days. Then heat gently after making sure all the plus gas has gone then just pinch up a little tweak and try it then. Do hit the upload a file button and show of the bike when sorted.

Hi and welcome to the forum  good luck the plug isn’t crossed and that it’s just got stuck in due to the spurious moisture issue.

Have you tried with a hot engine? You may find it helps.
I agree with trying plusgas, apply and leave it for a day or so.
Also maybe try gently tightening first, then loosen and if it moves slightly, maybe apply more plusgas and gently work it into the threads by rocking the plug spanner side to side.

Plusgas is not available in the US. I'll try the other suggestions and let you know. Thanks everyone.

@TripleDonald Sorry did not get back sooner. If you can't get Plus Gas or WD40 just try some diesel and thin it with thinners to start with. If you try the heat option try to get a fine flame where you can heat the area around the plug without heating heating the plug to much.
