After replacing the fuel log on my 2001 Sprint ST 955i. Build date 10/2010. I have a connector that looks similar in appearance to the connector located top of the airbox. The injectors are connected as are the others attached to the injection sub harness. The connector is brown and grey with yellow/red tracer and brown/white tracer. For the life of me I can't find its mate. Maybe it's not used? Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Well, who knew running changes happen. It looks like this ST build date 10/21 is a 2022. I suspected that was the case. It looks like the Barometric sensor moved from the airbox to the ECU. The harness connector wasn't removed. The second connector I think is for the alarm. The alarm was not included on bikes headed to the US. This is pure guess work on my part concerning the alarm.

If the bike is running well a d everything works I wouldn't worry about it. There are connections on the standard loom for different parts of the world legislation, ie all day lights etc.

Welcome to the family. Yes you do get some spare plugs Triumph leave there. Triumph use them when working on the bike or fitting various items. So just ride and enjoy. Do hit the upload a file button and show the patrons the bike

Thanks for the confirmation on the extra plugs. I'm working on adding pictures.

It is really a project at this point. I traded the previous owner a xr100r for the ST. The Bike was parked for many years. The bike is a runner but needed a bunch of care. I decided to pull it down service and renew damaged items. It is now going back together after a decent cleaning. Most of the parts have been relatively easy to source. The exception being plastics.

@usaabn Good luck with your project. Just repair any plastics if you have them. Keep us all in the know how the restoration is coming along.

The Sprint is a bit closer. A right middle fairing described as new is on its way. I'm holding out hope for a couple more red fairing pieces. Happy day!

The new right middle fairing arrived. Excellent condition and very reasonably priced. I have a good lead on the bottom right. I really want to avoid painting too many panels. The left part of the nose cone seems impossible to find in red. Life is good!
