Just purchased a new money pit!!! It should be a 1972 Honda CB350K4, the previous owner bought it 6 years ago, dismantled it, polished the brake drums and then left it!
A familiar tale I know. It appears to be mostly complete but needs a new tank, silencers and seat. but it gives me a toy to play with over the winter when I won't be riding the Speed 400!

Brilliant - takes me back to late 70's when I was given a Honda CB72 - 250, fully dismantled and in various boxes. I built it up over the summer, then rebuilt it in original red the next year.

Might have been easier back then as there were local bike shops and breakers who sold lots of bits like exhausts, mudguards and chainguards which I could adapt and fit. I'm sure the chainguard was BSA, the silencers were CD175 and the front mudguard was an alloy custom unit!

Have fun.... I did have some help!!

    Thanks folks!
I will update from time to time, I would like to get the frame assembled and up and rolling on rebuilt wheels before starting on the engine. Fortunately the spares situation appears to be reasonable, if somewhat pricey!

I've just started a subscription to Classic Bike Guide magazine.... if I see anything relating to your CB350 project bike, articles or bits for sale, I'll let you know!

Ah, Mickey Oates, had many a visit there for Lambretta parts and accessories when I was 16! More recently they were a Suzuki dealer, but unfortunately they have now closed down.
