Hello all, I've had a '76 Triumph T140 for about ten years It's currently being mated with a Wasp frame. I currently have several on and off road bikes including a '61 Velocette and a '64 Matchless. I went to the Barber Vintage Festival in Alabama a few weeks ago and tested the '24 Scrambler 1200 XE.
Got me thinking. Tomorrow I pick up a '23 XC with 4600 miles. I'm looking forward to getting it dirty and logging some miles and getting more info here.
I live east of Rochester NY in a small town called Walworth.
    Pete

Thanks everyone! I'll post up some pics soon. Just picked up the red 2023 1200 today, enjoyed a hundred mile ride and started adding stuff to the bike. Warm tomorrow, time to get some more seat time before the weather turns to crap

I'll start with the '76 T140. Shown as I built it originally. Second is the Wasp frame and bodywork. Third is the rebuilt motor with fresh rings.040" over bore, 650 inlet cam and degreed cams. I run an oil filter with it.

The original has Betor forks with cartridge emulators, Works Performance shocks. I braced the swingarm, built the seat and exhaust. Silencers are Cone Engineering. The new frame is 13 pounds lighter than stock.

This is my '73 CZ 400. Cr Performance porting and reed valve, CR Performance swingarm custom triple clamps, and Ohlins shocks. I was heavily into vintage MX but that time has passed. This picture was taken at Unadilla motocross track at the Vintage races. In the background you can see three of my old bikes, two sold-'82 Husqvarna 250CR and '78 Maico 250

Here's my '85 Moto Guzzi. It started out as a California II (cruiser).
My friend Tony who helped with the Triumph motor rebuild bought this to be a land speed bbike. it did hold a record afew years ago. I bought it and converted it onto a cafe racer.
The bike was stripped down, I took a Bridgestone seat and built the seat and had it covered. The top was from the original Bridgestone. Koni shocks with the back end raised and inch to quicken steering, aluminum tank, rear fender .
I hammered the front fairing and mounts, made the rearsets. Turn signals and tail light are LED, exhaust is off a LeMans. Front forks upgraded from 35mm to 45mm cartridge forks. More to follow.
