Attempting to make Camshft Locking Pins prior to carrying out check on valve clearances on my 2011 T100.
I have some M6 Coach bolts and have filed down the threaded section to 4mm.
Can anyone advise the minimum lengths of each section? Currently I have 15mm of 6mm dia and 20mm of 4mm dia. (The threaded end has been held in my drill chuck to get a nice round 4mm section and will be cut off).

    Hi Dave,
Whereabouts in Somerset are you? I have a pair of crankshaft locking pins which I made and used on my 2006 T100.
You are welcome to them as I have sold the T100 and am unlikely to buy another one.
I am near Langport. If you are fairly local then you are welcome to come and get them.
