    Hi.

new to the forum so hope this is in the right area and not a much asked question.

Just acquired a new to me 2020 spedmaster and am having trouble registering in a new province due to the noise levels. I lie in NE Thailand BTW.

The previous owner has fitted an X Cat and a set of Vance and Hines made Triumph slip ons. While I understand that the Vance and Hines will increase the volume somewhat, my question is will the removal of the Catalytic Converter have much effect of the exhaust volume too?

Yes, cat removal creates free flow without filtering, so deeper and louder tone. Generally this is enough, but Vance and Hines will have less baffles.
If you have original pipes, then refit and you should pass

Or buy a 2nd hand cat from ebay or similar and swap out the x-pipe
