Today I did with my wife a culinary rideout. We started after some great burgers in an US-fashioned Burger restaurant at about 16 degrees celsius and headed into the direction of the Pre-Alps. We "beamed" us up a mountainous area called "Wechsel". Up the mountain leads a road in a good condition and big curves. At the top we had about 12 degrees and were both glad about our heated grips. Afterwards we went on and crossed a part of the "Semmering", another mountain and mountainous area, and stopped in Gloggnitz at a factory outlet of a great chocolate company, "Lindt&Sprüngli". There we had the possibility to taste some products and as you may expected, we bought different kinds of delicious chocolate products. From there we headed back home and after our arrival we had some coffee with homemade bakery. Yesterday we tried to produce little "Schwarzwälderkirschtorten". There may be some steps of development possible, primary the look, but they tasted great.
In sum we did about 150 km and had a great afternoon.
    In the future some impressions.

The restaurant had a nice look.

My burger in the restaurant. It was quite good, but it was not comparable to the "high-class burgers" we had on our last trip in the Balkans

    Some views at the "Wechsel".

"Chocolate Heaven". At the factory outlet they offer a discount up to 50% .

So is it basically chocolate cake with cherries, kirsch and fresh cream, wrapped in ice cream?

    Sounds deeelicious

@Markus referring to your third photo, what volume are those panniers?
How wide is the unit overall with these fitted and does it affect filtering and how it rides?

I'm considering my options qnd found one company where the 32 litres were £80 more expensive than their obviously less popular 40 litres.
They will only be used infrequently but need to be a worthwhile size but not too bulky, dilemma dilemma :rolleyes:o_O

Anyone any suggestions and they need to be used on more than one bike.

@Eldon: There is no ice cream in it. It is a kind of white cream which stabilises the "construction" when you cool it.;)

@Eldon: Those panniers are the really expensive originals from BMW. They take €+1.000.- for them. 32 litres and about 95 cm over all. My former Triumph ones were much better to load. But you can not attach them to BMW's.
