Glad u got sorted and refreshing to know it isn’t just my bike that hates standard unleaded. Theory v reality can often be significantly different.

 

Mines standard with cat still on , runs really well from cold till it warmed up then loads of popping on overrun at low speed , erratic at idle / low throttle and stalls . Installed boost plug improved for few days then back to old tricks changed injectors ing coils (second hand ones ) new plugs plug caps , injector cleaner octane booster , remapped by triumph dealer (recall ) . At the moment I can go for good run with engine up to temp and all's ok stop engine but for 10 min or so , restart and its back to running bad at low throttle . Bike runs fine loads of power no misfire its just low throttle it messes about and the amount of popping is embarrassing , shut throttle when she's revving no popping !
